The Howa ATIK5R250REM Detachable Mag Drop-In Kit converts a Remington 700 BDL chambered in 22-250 Remington from a fixed internal box magazine into a true detachable magazine system. Built by Howa, the kit drops directly into the existing BDL floorplate opening and installs at home in a matter of minutes.
The kit includes one 5-round black polymer detachable magazine and a conversion trigger guard that completes the swap, plus printed instructions for the at-home install. Once fitted, the factory 4-round fixed box becomes a 5-round detachable setup, giving varmint hunters and target shooters faster, easier loading without rebuilding the rifle.
