Description
The Trijicon VCOG (Variable Combat Optical Gunsight) is a highly rugged, variable-magnification 1-6x24mm riflescope engineered for close-quarter battle and long-distance marksmanship. Built to a MIL-spec standard and made in the USA, the VCOG is designed to withstand the shock of soldier-portable weapons platforms and is at home on anything from an AR-pattern carbine to a designated marksman rifle.
At the heart of this VCOG is a first focal plane reticle illuminated by a green LED with six user-selectable brightness settings. The Segmented Circle/Crosshair MOA reticle provides a fast, uncluttered aiming point at 1x for rapid target engagement, and holds its subtensions across the entire 1-6x magnification range for accurate holdovers at distance. The LED runs up to 1,400 hours on a single battery, and click adjustments come in precise .25 MOA increments at 100 yards.
Optics are housed in a 30mm main tube with a 24mm objective and fully multi-coated lenses for a bright, high-contrast image. The field of view runs from a generous 95 ft at 100 yds at 1x down to 15.90 ft at 100 yds at 6x, and eye relief is a comfortable 4 inches. Overall length is 10.05″ and the scope weighs 23.20 oz.
The matte black finish is built around a durable housing that is fogproof, waterproof to 66 feet, and shock resistant, with dry-nitrogen purging to keep internal optics clear in any condition. Anti-reflective coatings reduce glare and help the optic stay discreet in varied lighting.
