Description
The Barnes Bullets VOR-TX Safari is factory-loaded centerfire rifle ammunition in 416 Rigby, built around a 400 gr Barnes TSX flat-base bullet. It is intended for hunting, including large and dangerous game, and is also categorized for target use.
The Triple-Shock X (TSX) is an all-copper expanding bullet designed for deep penetration, rapid expansion up to approximately twice its original diameter, and near-100% weight retention. Grooves in the bullet body are designed to reduce pressure and fouling, while the flat-base configuration completes this Safari-series load.
Published performance is 2400 fps muzzle velocity and 5117 ft lbs of muzzle energy, with a published .392 ballistic coefficient. Each loaded cartridge uses a brass case.
This is New ammunition. It is available by the 20-round box or by the 200-round case containing 10 boxes.
