The BCM RECCE-16 KMR-A is a right-handed AR-15-pattern semi-auto rifle made in the USA for personal protection and sport shooting. It is chambered for 5.56x45mm NATO and 223 Remington and has a 30+1 capacity. Its direct-impingement operating system uses a mid-length gas system.
The 16″ Government-profile barrel, within the 16″ to 16.99″ barrel-length range, is made from certified Mil-Spec 11595E steel with a 1:7 twist, a chrome-lined bore and chamber, and a black manganese-phosphate exterior finish. A BCM MOD 0 compensator is installed at the muzzle. The flat-top 7075-T6 aluminum receiver has a black hardcoat anodized metal finish, classified in the Blued/Black metal-finish group, plus M4 feed ramps and an M4 feed-ramp barrel extension.
A free-floating BCM KMR-A KeyMod handguard provides modular mounting space for compatible accessories. The rifle is optic-ready and does not include sights. Controls include an ambidextrous safety lever with SAFE and SEMI markings, a BCM Mod 4 charging handle with an enlarged latch, and a BCM PNT polished nickel-Teflon trigger. A BCM QD end plate provides a quick-detach sling attachment point.
Black synthetic furniture includes a six-position BCMGUNFIGHTER Mod 0 stock and BCMGUNFIGHTER Mod 3 pistol grip. Overall length adjusts from 32.50″ to 35.50″. The rifle weighs 6.10 lbs, placing it in the established 6 lbs to 6.99 lbs weight range. This New Condition rifle includes one 30-round AR-15 magazine, a cable lock, and a USGI manual.
