The Browning 1911-22 Black Label Medallion Full Size brings the classic 1911 pistol design to the rimfire world in 22 LR. Built to roughly 85% of the original 1911’s dimensions, this pistol pairs the look, feel, and controls of a Government-size 1911 with the low cost, low recoil, and easy follow-up shooting of a .22 LR chambering – a natural fit for both plinking range time and serious training.
The action is a single-action only (SAO) semi-auto fed by a 10-round detachable magazine. A 4.25″ target-crown barrel sits inside a matte-black machined aluminum slide finished with traditional 1911-style serrations, and the aluminum frame carries a matching matte black finish that keeps total pistol weight at just 15 oz.
Controls follow the modern Black Label 1911 layout: a beavertail grip safety, an oversized ambidextrous thumb safety, and a commander-style hammer. Sights are 3-dot contrast for fast target acquisition, and the grip panels are checkered rosewood inlaid with a gold Buckmark – the signature touch of Browning’s Medallion trim.
