The Case 00046 Peanut is a compact manual-opening folding knife in the classic Peanut pattern. At just 2.88 in closed and only 1.20 oz, it slips easily into a pocket for everyday carry while still delivering two full-length working blades.
This Peanut carries Tru-Sharp surgical stainless steel blades finished with Case’s signature As-Ground treatment. The 2.10 in clip point is a versatile all-purpose blade suited to general cutting tasks, while the 1.53 in pen blade rounds out the classic two-blade configuration. Both blades feature plain edges and open manually in the traditional Peanut pattern with no mechanical lock.
The handle is built around Case’s classic brown jigged synthetic scales, a tough, lightweight material designed to take abuse while providing a secure grip. Since 1889, every Case knife has been made with pride in the United States, and the Peanut remains one of the brand’s most recognized two-blade patterns – equally at home in a collector’s case or on a keychain.
