Description
The Colt 1911 Government in 38 Super is a full-size, single-action semi-auto pistol built on the classic Government Model platform. This configuration pairs a 5″ National Match Barrel with a 9+1 capacity for a proven combination of accuracy and controllability.
Both the slide and the frame are finished in stainless steel for a clean, corrosion-resistant appearance. The slide is serrated for positive press checks and easy manipulation under recoil, and is fitted with a beavertail to help mitigate slide bite during shooting. A bright 3-Dot White sight system provides a clear, ready-to-use sight picture right out of the box.
The steel frame wears traditional diamond checkered rosewood grips for a secure, classic 1911 hold, and is equipped with an ambidextrous grip and thumb safety for confident operation. This is a factory-new Colt manufactured in the USA and chambered in the 38 Super cartridge.
