Description
The Diamondback DB15 Black Gold Series is an AR-pattern modern sporting rifle in the CA Compliant series, chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO. Its direct-gas-operated semi-automatic action uses a mid-length gas system, and the rifle is configured for right-handed operation with a manual thumb safety.
The 16″ medium-profile barrel falls within the 16″ to 16.99″ barrel-length range. It is made from 4150 chrome-moly steel, cut with a 1:8″ twist and fitted with a flash hider. A shot-peened Mil-Spec 8620 bolt carrier supports the operating system. The rifle has 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower receivers, including Diamondback’s distinctive Black Gold lower receiver.
A 15″ M-LOK V Rail with anti-slip texture pads provides the handguard and accessory-mounting interface. Black furniture includes an adjustable Magpul CTR stock and Magpul MOE-K2 pistol grip. The stock adjusts the overall length from 32.75″ to 36″. Weight is 6.80 lbs, placing this model in the established 6 lbs to 6.99 lbs weight range. The rifle is predominantly black with blued/black metal surfaces and is supplied without sights.
Capacity is 10+1, and one 10-round Magpul PMAG is included. This is a New current-production rifle in a California-compliant configuration.
