Description
The Faxon Firearms Match Series 12.5″ Gunner barrel is a replacement barrel for AR-15-pattern builds chambered in 338 ARC. This barrel uses Faxon’s Gunner profile, which retains more material toward the chamber and transitions to a lighter forward section to shift the balance rearward compared with a government-profile barrel.
Machined from 416-R stainless steel, the barrel has a black nitride finish with a matte black exterior. Its button-rifled 5R bore uses a 1:8 twist, and the barrel is magnetic-particle inspected. The contour is non-fluted.
The barrel is configured for a pistol-length gas system and has a .750″ gas-block journal measuring 1.9″ long. An M4-pattern barrel extension supports AR-15 compatibility. At the muzzle, 5/8×24 threads and an 11-degree target crown complete the configuration.
This New Match Series component is a barrel only, not a complete firearm or upper assembly, and it is supplied without sights.
