The Federal Premium Safari Cape-Shok load is centerfire rifle ammunition made for safari and dangerous big-game hunting. Chambered in 470 Nitro Express, it uses a 500 gr Trophy Bonded Bear Claw bonded soft-point bullet.
Advertised muzzle velocity is 2150 fps, and advertised muzzle energy is 5132 ft lbs. The bullet has a .299 ballistic coefficient. Each round uses a nickel-plated brass case with centerfire ignition, and the ammunition is not lead-free.
