Description
The Great Lakes Firearms GL10 is an AR-10-pattern semi-auto centerfire rifle chambered in 308 Win. Intended for hunting and target shooting, this right-hand configuration pairs a 10+1 capacity with a 16″ heavy stainless steel barrel and an adjustable carbine stock.
The 416R stainless steel barrel features 5R rifling, a 1:10 twist, double thermal stress relief and air-gauging. Its 16″ length falls within the established 16″ to 16.99″ barrel length range. The barrel is threaded 5/8×24 and fitted with a ported muzzle brake. The operating system uses a rifle-length gas tube and a 0.750″ gas block.
The billet upper and lower receivers are made from 7075 aluminum. A black Cerakote receiver and metal finish, classified in the Blued/Black metal finish group, contrasts with the stainless steel barrel. The approximately 15.125″ 6061 aluminum handguard provides M-LOK mounting slots and an interrupted Picatinny top rail.
Furniture includes a black six-position collapsible mil-spec synthetic carbine stock and a mil-spec polymer A2-style pistol grip. The rifle has mil-spec controls, a Safety: Selector Switch, no forward assist and a mil-spec trigger with a listed 5.5-6 lb pull. No sights are included.
Overall length is 36.5″, and the rifle weighs 8.25 lb, placing it within the established 8 lbs to 8.99 lbs weight range. Included equipment consists of the rifle, installed muzzle brake, adjustable stock and one 10-round detachable magazine. This rifle is offered in New condition.
