Description
The Great Lakes Firearms GL15 Zombie Splatter is a Splatter Series AR-15-pattern semi-auto rifle made in the USA. Its 223 Wylde chamber is specified for both 223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO ammunition, while the carbine-length gas system and 30+1 capacity provide a familiar modern sporting rifle configuration.
The 16″ heavy-profile barrel, within the 16″ to 16.99″ barrel-length range, is made from 4150 chrome-moly-vanadium steel with a nitride treatment, 1:8 twist, M4 feed ramps and 1/2×28 muzzle threads. A muzzle brake with a six-degree forward orientation is installed. The rifle uses 7075 aluminum upper and lower receivers and a 15.25″ 6061 aluminum M-LOK handguard with a full-length Picatinny top rail.
Its distinctive Zombie Green Splatter Cerakote finish is paired with black furniture, including an adjustable six-position collapsible synthetic stock and a mil-spec polymer pistol grip. Mil-spec controls and a mil-spec trigger with a listed 5.5 to 6-pound pull complete the setup. The safety is non-ambidextrous, and no sights are included, leaving the top rail ready for the shooter’s chosen optic or sighting system.
The GL15 measures 33.25″ overall and has a listed weight of 6.80 lbs, placing it within the listed 6 lbs to 6.99 lbs weight range. It includes one 30-round Magpul PMAG and is offered in New condition.
