Description
The Hi-Point HP-15R is an AR-style semi-auto rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO, canonically designated 5.56x45mm NATO, with established compatibility for 223 Remington ammunition. It feeds from an included 30-round magazine for a 30+1 capacity.
The rifle has a 16″ black threaded barrel with a 1:8 twist rate and an A2 birdcage flash hider. Its established barrel-length range is 16″ to 16.99″. The aluminum upper and lower receivers wear an M81 Woodland camouflage finish.
A 15″ M-LOK handguard and Picatinny rail provide mounting space for compatible accessories. The furniture consists of a B5 Systems Bravo polymer stock and a black B5 Systems P-Grip Type 23.
The HP-15R is equipped with UTG flip-up front and rear sights, a manual 90-degree safety selector, and a mil-spec charging handle. Overall length is 33.25″. Unloaded weight is 6.25 lbs, placing it within the established 6 lbs to 6.99 lbs weight range.
