The Hornady Dangerous Game load is centerfire rifle ammunition for dangerous-game and large-game hunting. Chambered in 450-400 Nitro Express 3″, it pairs the classic cartridge with Hornady’s 400 gr Dangerous Game Solid projectile.
The DGS round-nose solid has a .410″ diameter, a .325 G1 ballistic coefficient, and a .340 sectional density. Published ballistic figures are 2050 fps muzzle velocity and 3732 ft lbs muzzle energy.
Each cartridge uses a brass case with centerfire ignition. This is New ammunition offered in two package sizes for customers selecting a single box or a full case quantity.
