Description
The Hornady Dangerous Game Series is centerfire rifle ammunition loaded in 470 Nitro Express for dangerous-game hunting. Each cartridge uses a 500 gr Hornady DGS, or Dangerous Game Solid, projectile with a round-nose profile.
Hornady publishes a muzzle velocity of 2150 fps and muzzle energy of 5132 ft lbs for this load. The combination of the heavy solid projectile and classic big-bore rifle chambering is intended for demanding hunting applications where a solid bullet is required.
These cartridges are assembled with brass cases. This ammunition is offered in New Condition.
