Description
The Hornady Dangerous Game load is 500 Nitro Express 3″ centerfire rifle ammunition developed for dangerous-game hunting. Each cartridge is loaded with a 570 gr Dangerous Game Solid (DGS) bullet and carries published ballistic figures of 2120 fps muzzle velocity and 5688 ft lbs muzzle energy.
The DGS projectile uses a lead and antimony alloy core enclosed by a copper-clad steel jacket. This load uses a reloadable brass case with Boxer-primed, non-corrosive centerfire ignition. The projectile is not lead-free.
This is New ammunition. Choose a single box for a 20-round supply or a full six-box case containing 120 rounds.
