Description
The Huxwrx Blastphemy is a multi-caliber muzzle-blast deflector that mounts to compatible Huxwrx HX-QD muzzle brakes and flash hiders. Rated for calibers through .338 caliber with no stated barrel-length restriction, it directs blast and overpressure forward, away from the shooter and nearby personnel. This makes it particularly useful when firing from prone or covered positions.
The Blastphemy is machined from heat-treated 17-4 stainless steel and finished in matte black C-Series Cerakote. It measures 3.28″ long and 1.60″ in diameter, adds 2.66″ to the barrel assembly, and weighs 5.9 oz. In addition to redirecting concussion, it covers and protects the external threads of the installed HX-QD muzzle device.
A compatible Huxwrx HX-QD muzzle device is required for installation and is not included. The Blastphemy is not compatible with Bannar or Comp-STS muzzle devices.
Manufacturer testing documents performance beyond six cycles of the SOCOM Reliability Stress Test, with each cycle consisting of eight 30-round magazines. Occasional cleaning is recommended, with particular attention to the mounting threads.
