Description
The Lee Precision Bulge Buster Kit is a case prep tool designed to remove the annoying lower-case bulges that develop in rimless pistol brass during feeding. When a rimless case rides up a pistol’s feed ramp, the case base can deform into an oval-shaped bulge that prevents the brass from chambering smoothly and causes feeding failures in semi-auto pistols. The Bulge Buster pushes that brass back into round in a single stroke, saving good cases that would otherwise be scrapped.
This kit installs into your Lee Carbide Factory Crimp Die by replacing the adjusting screw and crimp sleeve so the included push-through punch runs through the die body and forces the bulge back into spec. The kit ships with an extension sleeve, a push-through punch, and a catch container, and the working components are stainless steel with red and silver finishes. To use it, drop a bulged case into the shell holder, run the press, and the punch drives the bulge back into round while the case drops into the catch container. It can be run on empty cases or loaded cartridges.
