Description
The LWRC Individual Carbine DI is an AR-style semi-auto rifle chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO. It uses a direct-impingement operating system, accepts AR-15-pattern magazines and has a 30+1 capacity, making it a versatile optics-ready carbine for range and general-purpose use.
The rifle has a 16.10″ cold-hammer-forged, NiCorr-treated barrel, placing it in the 16″ to 16.99″ barrel-length range. The barrel has a 1:7 twist and terminates in an A2 flash hider. A NiCorr-treated LWRCI gas block and gas tube support the direct-impingement system, while the free-floating M-LOK handguard provides mounting space for compatible accessories. The bolt carrier incorporates LWRCI’s keyless design.
The rifle combines an aluminum-alloy receiver with LWRCI Monoforge upper-receiver construction. Its FDE anodized/black metal finish is cataloged in the brown metal-finish group. Fully ambidextrous features include the magazine release, bolt catch and release, charging handle and thumb-operated manual safety selector.
Furniture consists of a black Magpul MOE+ grip and an LWRCI compact adjustable stock with QD sling provision. The stock rides on a mil-spec six-position buffer tube. Overall length adjusts from 32″ to 35.25″.
