The Magpul AFG-2 (model MAG414-ODG) is a slim-profile angled foregrip built from durable polymer in a rugged OD Green finish. Designed as a more compact evolution of the original AFG, the AFG-2 is shorter in both overall length and width so it fits a wider variety of railed handguards while preserving the natural grip angle that made the original a favorite on the modern sporting rifle.
The AFG-2 clamps to any MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail or NATO STANAG 4694 rail using the included mounting hardware. By positioning the shooter’s hand high on the centerline of the bore, the AFG-2 promotes a more natural, ergonomic grip that helps mitigate recoil and improve weapon control during rapid strings of fire, without forcing a fixed conventional vertical grip stance.
Key specs include an overall length of 4.70″, a height of 1.94″, and a weight of just 1.2 oz including hardware. The textured polymer surface delivers positive traction in wet, cold, or gloved conditions.
