The Magpul ASAP-QD (Ambidextrous Sling Attachment Point, Quick-Detach) is a rugged, low-profile sling mounting point that replaces the standard AR-15/M4 carbine stock receiver end plate. It delivers a strong, durable mount that accepts any standard push-button quick-detach sling swivel, providing ambidextrous sling capability for right- and left-handed shooters alike.
Precision cast from steel and finished in black Melonite for corrosion and wear resistance, the ASAP-QD is compatible with both Mil-Spec and Commercial-Spec carbine receiver extensions, making it a drop-in upgrade for the vast majority of AR-pattern rifles and carbines. The integrated design helps minimize sling snagging during dynamic movement and transitions.
Installation is straightforward: remove the factory end plate, slide the ASAP-QD onto the receiver extension, and tighten the locking nut to 40 +/- 2 foot-lbs of torque per US Army armorer specification. Made in the USA.
