Description
The Magpul BEV Block (Barrel Extension Vise) is a compact, all-in-one gunsmithing fixture purpose-built for AR-15/M4/M16 platform assembly and maintenance. Built around a high-strength polymer body with a full-length steel support shank, the BEV solidly engages the barrel extension through steel lugs to deliver a secure, non-marring hold for installing and removing barrel nuts, flash hiders, muzzle devices, and similar upper-receiver work.
The block is reversible for genuine dual-purpose utility. Inserted into the upper receiver, it becomes a stable vise platform for torquing down barrel nuts and free-float handguards. Flipped over and dropped into the magazine well of an AR-15/M4 lower receiver, it transforms into a stable fixture for servicing the buffer tube, castle nut, and lower-receiver components without crushing or marring the finish.
Sized to mil-spec AR-15/M4 upper and lower receivers and finished in black, the BEV Block is manufactured by Magpul Industries using the same high-quality polymer found throughout the rest of the Magpul line. The full-length steel shank keeps the block rigid under heavy torque, so it does not flex or distort when you lean on it.
