The Magpul M-LOK Rail Covers, Type 2 are low-profile, two-piece polymer panels that snap directly onto most M-LOK aluminum hand guards (non-polymer). Each package includes six panels, with each panel covering one full M-LOK slot to protect unused rail space and help prevent sling and gear snags during weapon manipulation.
Built from durable, high-strength Magpul polymer in a non-reflective Black color, the Type 2 covers are non-orientation specific – there is no up, down, left, right, front, or back – and feature textured contact surfaces for a secure fit. The low-profile two-piece design means the covers barely protrude beyond the hand guard, keeping the rifle’s profile slim while still providing full-slot coverage where needed.
These symmetric covers are optimized for mounting at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions on M-LOK hand guards, making them ideal for filling in the bottom and side slots of any M-LOK-compatible rifle or carbine where no accessories are installed. The center locking tab and snap-on design allow each panel to be added or removed quickly by hand with no tools required.
