The Magpul Industries MIAD Type 2 Gen 1.1 Grip Kit is a drop-in replacement pistol grip engineered specifically for the AR-10/7.62×51 platform. Part of Magpul’s Mission Adaptable (MIAD) system, this Type 2 configuration is sized for larger-frame 7.62×51 lowers, swapping in for the standard A2 grip with a fully customizable platform that improves trigger reach, comfort, and weapon control.
Constructed from durable polymer in Flat Dark Earth with an aggressive textured surface, the Gen 1.1 core sits at a 4″ height and is built around interchangeable front straps and rear backstraps so the user can dial in the grip profile to match their hand size and shooting style. The drop-in design uses the existing AR-10 grip screw and hardware – no permanent modifications required.
