The Magpul MOE M-LOK Handguard is a drop-in mid-length replacement for the factory two-piece plastic handguard on AR-15/M4 rifles. Built from reinforced, heat-resistant polymer with an integral riveted aluminum heat shield, it is engineered to absorb hard use while shielding the support hand from barrel heat during extended strings of fire.
M-LOK slots are molded at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions, providing a low-profile mounting platform for accessories and rail sections. The textured Gray polymer finish delivers a positive grip in wet or cold conditions, and the mid-length footprint is intended for carbines running a mid-length gas system.
Measuring 9.2″ overall with an 8.6″ mounting length, the MOE M-LOK Handguard drops onto standard mil-spec barrel nuts for straightforward installation with no gunsmithing required. It is a direct upgrade path for the standard plastic handguard, giving your AR-15/M4 a more durable, modular, and heat-tolerant forend without adding significant weight.
