The Magpul PMAG Ranger Plate is a dedicated floorplate replacement designed specifically for all 7.62x51mm NATO PMAG LR/SR GEN M3 magazines. Molded from tough black polymer, the Ranger Plate installs in place of the standard magazine floorplate and incorporates an integral pull loop reminiscent of the original Magpul USGI Ranger, giving the shooter a positive gripping surface for faster, one-handed magazine extraction from pouches, plate carriers, and chest rigs.
This Ranger Plate is purpose-built for the 7.62×51 LR/SR GEN M3 PMAG family and is not compatible with the older PMAG 20LR, any 5.56×45 PMAG, any 7.62×39 PMAG, or any non-PMAG magazine. It is an ideal upgrade for AR-10 pattern rifles running PMAG LR/SR GEN M3 magazines where quicker reloads matter, whether in competition, duty use, or defensive applications.
