The Magpul Industries Rail Light Mount (MAG498-BLK-LT) is the left-side variant of Magpul’s polymer weapon-light mount, designed to clamp onto any standard 1913 Picatinny rail on an AR-platform handguard. The mount positions the weapon light high and cantilevered off the rail, keeping the lamp within easy reach of the support-hand thumb for natural activation.
Built from a tough, impact-resistant polymer in a Black finish, the Rail Light Mount accepts flashlight bodies measuring .75″ to 1″ in diameter and integrates cleanly with Magpul XTM handguard panels for a factory-style appearance. Installation is straightforward – the mount clamps to a Picatinny rail slot using the included hardware, no gunsmithing required. Made in the USA.
