Description
The Midwest Industries Alpha Series M4 Beam Side Folder is a side-folding stock-beam adapter assembly that mounts to a firearm’s 1913 Picatinny rear rail and accepts Mil-Spec-diameter stocks. Its modular configuration provides a folding interface for compatible stock attachments.
The heavy-duty folding mechanism is made from 4140 steel and uses a full-length locking lug for positive lockup in both the folded and extended positions. A steel mounting clamp provides a large engagement surface at the rail, while the assembly can be configured to fold to either the right or left side.
A curved top surface is designed to reduce wobble between the beam and a skeletonized stock installation. The assembly also provides two QD sling attachment points. When extended, it adds 7.0 inches to the firearm’s overall length; when folded, it adds 0.75 inch. Complete assembly weight is 11.6 ounces.
This steel M4 Beam is finished in black, with a magnesium-phosphate finish on the steel components. It is made in the USA and covered by Midwest Industries’ lifetime warranty. This stock-beam adapter is offered in New condition.
