Description
The Rise Armament RA-1010 Low-Mass Bolt Carrier Group is a complete reduced-mass BCG for AR-15 rifles chambered in .223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO. Its approximately 8.9 oz reciprocating assembly is intended to lessen felt recoil and support faster follow-up shots, and it is compatible with lighter buffers.
The carrier is made from heat-treated, case-hardened 8620 tool steel, while the 9310 steel bolt is individually magnetic-particle inspected. Additional components include a 4140 steel cam pin, a shot-peened tool-steel extractor, and a tool-steel gas key secured with hardened Grade 8 fasteners and properly staked.
A nickel-boron finish is applied to reduce friction and simplify cleaning. The complete assembly is precision manufactured and individually inspected for a purpose-built combination of reduced reciprocating mass and established component materials.
This RA-1010 uses a semi-automatic profile only and is not full-auto rated. It is offered in New condition.
