The Savage Mark II FVXP is a purpose-built .22 LR bolt-action rimfire rifle designed to deliver consistent accuracy straight out of the box. Built around Savage’s proven Mark II action, this FVXP variant pairs a button-rifled barrel with a factory-mounted optic so it is ready for the range or the field with no extra shopping required.
At the heart of the rifle is a 21″ matte black button-rifled barrel with a target crown, threaded into a matte blued carbon steel receiver that is drilled and tapped for scope mounting. The button-rifled bore spins standard .22 LR ammunition at a 1:16″ twist, producing the kind of accuracy that has made the Mark II a long-standing favorite for rimfire hunting and target work.
Savage’s user-adjustable AccuTrigger lets the shooter dial in a clean, crisp break to match individual preference, while the two-position thumb safety sits naturally behind the bolt handle for intuitive operation. The rifle feeds from a 5-round detachable box magazine, and a single 5-round magazine ships with the gun.
Up top, the Mark II FVXP is factory-equipped with a 3-9x40mm Duplex scope already mounted, giving a practical magnification range for both close-range pest control and longer-range paper or steel work out to 100 yards and beyond.
