Description
The SilencerCo AC24 is a replacement adjustable piston designed for SilencerCo’s Osprey and Octane suppressors, and it also drops right into the Hybrid and Omega 9K. Machined from 17-4 stainless steel and heat-treated for maximum durability, this piston threads onto the Nielsen device of the host barrel so the suppressor can cycle freely on semi-automatic firearms.
This AC24 piston carries a .578″x28 thread pattern matched to the muzzle thread pitch of 45 ACP host pistols and pistol-caliber carbines. Matching the piston to the host barrel’s thread pitch keeps the bore concentric with the suppressor body for repeatable accuracy and reliable semi-auto function. Finished in a natural stainless appearance, the AC24 is a direct OEM component in SilencerCo’s modular suppressor system.
SilencerCo’s interchangeable piston design lets a single suppressor body move between host firearms with different barrel thread pitches, so adding an AC24 to a shooter’s kit turns any full-size 45 ACP pistol with a .578×28 threaded barrel into a quick host for the Osprey, Octane, Hybrid, or Omega 9K.
