Description
The Speer 1410 Boat-Tail is a .25 Caliber rifle reloading bullet designed for hunting applications. Built around a 120 gr lead core wrapped in a copper jacket, the spitzer boat-tail profile delivers a high ballistic coefficient of .480 for flat trajectories and excellent retained energy at extended range.
Each bullet measures .257 in diameter with an overall length of 1.125″ and a sectional density of .260. The exposed soft-point tip initiates rapid, controlled expansion on impact, while the tapered boat-tail base reduces drag and helps the bullet hold its line against crosswinds on long-range shots. The core and tip are both lead, with a copper jacket and no cannelure on the bullet body.
Bullets are packed 100 per box, with 5 boxes per case (500 bullets total). These are bare, unprimed projectiles sold as reloading components for handloaders assembling .25 Caliber rifle cartridges – they are not loaded ammunition.
