The Springfield Armory 1911 Mil-Spec is a traditional, full-size 45 ACP single-action pistol built on the classic Government-platform design. This California-compliant configuration is engineered to satisfy the requirements of the California Department of Justice while preserving every hallmark of the Mil-Spec line.
At its core is a 5″ stainless steel match-grade barrel mated to a forged stainless steel slide finished in matte rounds with polished flats and rear slanted serrations for clean, snag-free press checks. The stainless steel frame features the signature Mil-Spec beavertail profile and carries the full complement of classic 1911 controls. The action is single-action only (SAO), fed by a 7-round detachable magazine for a 7+1 total capacity.
3-dot fixed combat sights provide a durable, ready-to-use sighting system, while the Crossed Cannon Cocobolo grip panels deliver the traditional look and a confident hand fit. The classic grip safety rounds out the control package. At 8.6″ overall, 5.5″ tall, and 39 oz, the Mil-Spec carries the heft and balance that have defined the 1911 for more than a century.
