The Spyderco Manix 2 Lightweight is a Made-in-USA full-sized folding knife built around Spyderco’s patented Ball Bearing Lock mechanism. This Lightweight version pairs a tough BD1 steel drop-point blade with a lightweight fiberglass-reinforced co-polymer (FRCP) handle for everyday carry without the bulk of the standard G-10 Manix 2.
The 3.37″ plain-edge blade is finished in non-reflective black Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) for added corrosion and wear resistance. It deploys smoothly via Spyderco’s signature round thumb hole, allowing fully ambidextrous one-handed opening right or left.
The black FRCP handle scales keep overall carry weight at just 3 oz while remaining strong and grippy in the hand. The knife measures 8.03″ overall open and 4.60″ closed, locks up solidly via the Ball Bearing Lock for easy one-handed release, and carries via the included pocket clip.
