The Stern Defense Rapid Attach Buttstock Adapter (RAB-AD) delivers fast, reliable buttstock changes for AR-platform firearms. To detach, simply press the button and rotate counter-clockwise 30 degrees; reattach by aligning, pressing, and turning clockwise 30 degrees. A steel locking mechanism secures the adapter automatically. Built from robust 7075 aluminum with steel internals, the RAB-AD is both lightweight and durable, and is engineered to work with gas piston, direct impingement, direct blowback, and radial delayed blowback systems.
