Description
The Stevens 555 Compact Trap is a purpose-built, single-shot trap shotgun chambered in 12 Gauge with a 3″ chamber. Built around a lightweight silver aluminum receiver and a rugged break-open action, this compact trap gun is scaled down for shorter-statured or younger shooters who want a serious clay-target tool without the length of a full-size trap gun.
At the heart of the platform is a 26″ chrome-lined vent rib barrel finished in black semi-gloss and topped with a bead sight. The fixed stock is crafted from silver-oiled Turkish walnut with an adjustable comb that lets the shooter dial in proper eye alignment with the rib, and the buttstock is configured for ambidextrous shooting. A manual thumb safety and included C, F, and M choke tubes round out the package, while the single-shot capacity delivers the focused, traditional trap-shooting experience.
Weighing approximately 6.80 lbs with an overall length of just 42.50″, the 555 Compact Trap is light in the hands and quick to mount – ideal for league nights, entry-level trap competition, and shooters who want a lighter, more compact alternative to a full-size trap gun.
