The key ammo used for protection is the pepper ball rounds that break upon impact to release a 6-foot pepper cloud. This means you do not have to hit an attacker directly for this to incapacitate them. The pepper cloud will cause a burning in the throat, wheezing, gasping, a dry cough, shortness of breath, gagging, and an inability to breathe. This will give you ample time to escape. Next, the unit comes with Quicksilver rounds that are made of a 12 mm stainless steel ball wrapped in clear ABS plastic. These use kinetic force to cause extreme pain when hitting an attacker directly. The gun also comes with rubber rounds that are great for practicing with. On top of that, the push button activation feature allows you to load the CO2 cartridge in the gun and not puncture it until it is ready for use. A quick push of the activation button on the butt-end of the gun readies it to be fired.
