Built on a steel receiver finished in classic blued metalwork, the 1927A-1 Deluxe wears genuine American walnut furniture including a traditional stock and wood grip. A fixed compensator at the muzzle helps tame muzzle rise during rapid strings of fire, while the manual thumb safety, blade front sight, and fixed battle rear sight provide time-tested controls. Right-hand configured, the carbine measures 39″ overall and tips the scales at 12.50 lbs, giving it the heft and balance that made the original Thompson famous.
