Description
The Thompson Center Arms Encore ProHunter Katahdin barrel is a caliber-conversion rifle barrel chambered in 300 AAC Blackout for the Encore ProHunter platform. It fits Encore frames and allows the break-open system to operate as a single-shot rifle when assembled with the proper frame and rifle components.
This 20″ barrel is made from stainless steel with a natural stainless finish, a fluted Katahdin contour, and a 1:8 twist rate. The muzzle is threaded 5/8×24 for a compatible muzzle device. No muzzle device is identified as included.
The barrel has no sights and is drilled and tapped for the standard Thompson/Center four-hole scope-base pattern. No scope base or rail is identified as included, leaving the optic mounting setup to the user’s preferred compatible components.
The current-production Katahdin contour requires a rifle forend and is compatible with the ProHunter/FlexTech rifle forend, identified as part 207-3060R. This accessory barrel is offered in New condition.
