Description
The Winchester Super-X Power-Point is 325 WSM centerfire rifle ammunition loaded with a 220 gr Power-Point jacketed soft-point bullet. It is intended for hunting and target shooting, with a bullet design suited to medium-to-large and big game.
The Power-Point bullet has an exposed soft nose and strategically placed jacket-mouth notches designed to promote consistent, uniform expansion. Its contoured jacket and alloyed lead core are designed for controlled expansion, retained weight and deep penetration. Each cartridge uses a brass case.
Advertised muzzle performance is 2840 fps muzzle velocity and 3941 ft lbs muzzle energy. Published downrange performance is 2605 fps and 3316 ft lbs at 100 yards, 2382 fps and 2772 ft lbs at 200 yards, and 2169 fps and 2300 ft lbs at 300 yards.
