The Yankee Hill 5M2QD is a quick-detach muzzle brake purpose-built for 5.56x45mm NATO AR-platform rifles. Machined from steel with a black finish and measuring 2.50″ overall, this QD mount allows the shooter to attach and remove compatible sound suppressors rapidly without losing zero.
Featuring Yankee Hill’s signature five-port design with no downward-facing port, the 5M2QD helps eliminate dust signature when firing from the prone position while also acting as an effective compensator to reduce muzzle rise. It is threaded 1/2″-28 tpi, the industry-standard thread pitch for 5.56 NATO AR barrels, and serves as the dedicated QD anchor for the Yankee Hill Turbo and Turbo K suppressor families.
